I searched Netflix and found something called “Stumble”, an Indian film. It was AWFUL and I watched the whole thing, thinking you recommended it. I am happy to discover I got the wrong DVD.
Do you suggest anything I could find at Netflix?

Isn’t raw cabbage a cruciferous vegetable? I tried eating raw broccoli once and it really did a number on my digestive system. I later learned that people with a weak (or even normal for that matter) will have a really hard time digesting that. My understanding is that anything in the cruciferous family (broccoli, cabbage, etc) shouldn’t be eaten raw. Just a warning to those eating the raw cabbage. If they have problems with digestion afterward it’ll be because of the cabbage.

I see free spirits caring for children all the time. Freedom is never found in the circumstances surrounding us, it is always found inside our own minds. We must train ourselves to see that the universe has us right where it wants us for the good of all including ourselves. Find and appreciate the freedom you do have and it will grow until freespiritedness becomes an everyday part of your life. Choose to see the good and be thankful. A truly free spirit is free in all circumstances. Love, Dan

On a lighter side, I will take this summer stew to a pot luck this evening.
    Blessings and health.

Hi Dave, I have a question or observation that I hope you and your viewers don’t take as negative. How does a primary care giver, with 3 kids and 8 bags of groceries, live the free lifestyle you speak of? When my kids were little it was all about them and my husband. How could I take them on a 10 mi bike ride and skinny dipping in the stream? I never see “free spirits” caring for children.
    Peace

Hi Dan, Thanks for being part of my life.
Please suggest some titles of spiritual videos. Also, what kind of comedies do you and LLK (the Lovely Lady Krista) watch?
I really liked the chat video. The recipes are awesome, but everybody has recipes. You give encouragement and wisdom. Peace.

Thanks for this recipe Dan. I know what I am having for supper tonight! I love salads but sometimes need a bit of inspiration and new ideas.
Also I wanted to say congratulations to having one of your videos featured on the VegFamily newsletter. Just got it this morning. Its awesome to see you getting even more exposure to people.
Could you sometime have a talk about salt? I noticed you seem to not use any or little. Its the hardest thing for me to give up even though I know I should . Thanks!
